Guys in thick black glasses with their little Apple laptops and gals on the same little laptops wearing their high rise jeans my mom wore in 1985. Let’s not forget wood – because who the fuck doesn’t love everything covered in the rich brown innards of a dead plant, artistically eviscerated and carved up like some sort botanical Ed Gein decor? But what hipsters and wood lack is heart – the former because they unsurreptitiously flaunt their lackadaisical approach to life and the latter because their hearts were forcibly ripped from their torso to make a desk.
